On 14th September 2006, the Re3 team attended the Sustainable Ireland Awards at the Ramada Hotel, Belfast.

Celebrating industry excellence within the island of Ireland, the Sustainable Ireland Awards were a resounding success with winners announced hailing from the public and private sector. Hosted by UTV’s Brian Black and featuring Energy Minister, Maria Eagle MP as the keynote speaker, the over 300 attendees were astounded at both the quality and the atmosphere of this prestigious event.

There were nine award categories and commenting on the Awards, the Managing Director of Re3, Professor Deborah Boyd, said "The awards are an important benchmark with regards to activity in this sector. It is vital that we acknowledge those companies and people who are making a difference with regards to the environment, we must reward innovation and best practice within the industry."
